Buttons before bands
At least when I finally get the button bands done, I'll be able to close it up. This one is sitting on the bottom band for size comparison purposes. I just couldn't resist these when I saw them on ebay.
The bead shop near us (I was on a quest for the Shipwreck Shawl beads, long story, ended up ordering them online) has a big bowl of vintage buttons. I almost bought them all. So distinctive and different and fun.
Ooooh, that's a fabulous buttons! Ever since I read Vergil's Aeneid and the Eclogues, I've loved bees.
