Most of the sprouts are teeny in diameter, and I expect that those big ones are probably pulling a lot of the weight of growing the crowns. Another year's wait would be hard, though.

Erin, thanks!Stefaneenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08422241601075022500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-23675669582720622862013-01-28T13:33:09.927-08:002013-01-28T13:33:09.927-08:00Welcome Back!Welcome Back!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06916896512933101955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-10059646433933426232013-01-28T13:12:31.518-08:002013-01-28T13:12:31.518-08:00Don't you find it challenging to blog about ga...Don't you find it challenging to blog about gardening when the garden is sleeping? I do. I wrack my brain for ideas, but somehow...my heart just isn't in it. I think my brain and creativity goes dormant with the garden. Still, that bit of asparagus peeking through--that's enough to get the garden lust back, for sure! I'm crossing fingers and toes that we might--might have enough asparagus for a full meal or two this year. (Three years in now!) Patience and asparagus go hand-in-hand, huh? But it's so worth it! Glad to see you back! ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09643317297830165273noreply@blogger.com
