The nest is a big help. But when nesting they don't exhibit their characteristic behavior of flying from bush to bush in mobs. I observed them for years before I finally happened to have a birder handy when some passed by and my curiosity was at last slaked.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04779866178920345344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-41922831289679310842009-04-29T20:35:00.000-07:002009-04-29T20:35:00.000-07:00Nice post Denise! I'd love to suspend last year's nest from the ceiling, but I think she's still using bits of it.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07939617453458723400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-9886480382079749822009-04-28T21:32:00.000-07:002009-04-28T21:32:00.000-07:00Fantastic photos. And you got the "tit" right, but what you've got there is a bushtit, not a titmouse (no crest, long nest). :)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04779866178920345344noreply@blogger.com
