But that's ok, they become rabbit food. I'm waiting for some and rain and snow which isn't appearing. I know it won't be warm enough at night to plant any warm weather stuff for awhile yet and even then must be careful not to be too tempted because you never know when the weather will decide to change and give you snow...Mary Hysonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05761108134258243637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-22425629473209358772012-02-07T05:15:22.435-08:002012-02-07T05:15:22.435-08:00So pretty. Very young transplants or direct seeding works better.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-55333597709159944052012-02-06T21:36:33.127-08:002012-02-06T21:36:33.127-08:00beautiful tatsoi, I have seen it some many times a...beautiful tatsoi, I have seen it some many times at our market we will have to give it a try next yearJenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05647860216477797433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-73435276839948302202012-02-06T20:10:49.414-08:002012-02-06T20:10:49.414-08:00Michelle, Lacinato is the fussy kale, in my experi...Michelle, Lacinato is the fussy kale, in my experience. My chard is happy though, I had problems with the tat soi that you gave me bolting, last year. I still haven't got to taste that plant as it should be. Cilantro often bolts too soon too. Can you believe I'm still getting cherry tomatoes? They're small, but they're packed with flavor compared the flacid but red thangs' in the grocery store.Kristin https://www.blogger.com/profile/04323713538989288259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-49764459932673555222012-02-06T18:39:37.962-08:002012-02-06T18:39:37.962-08:00It's been great hiking weather but the greens ...It's been great hiking weather but the greens are confused. I can't believe that my lacinato kale is bolting this early again, it seems like I've barely harvested anything from the plants. I do hope that we get a decent amount of rain, the main valve to my drip system is broken and I can't water the garden properly until I figure out how to fix it. :(Michellehttp://fromseedtotable.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018402196949735412.post-67865099369237592182012-02-06T16:33:24.442-08:002012-02-06T16:33:24.442-08:00No kidding.
