The good, the bad, the only-in-this-house

I'm still in love with Cabaret. I may have to knit it again.
Thing 4 is now barking along with Sandra Boynton's book Doggies. It's a family tradition! She waved byebye today and I swear she's talking.
Thing 2 cut her eyelashes with scissors.
I'm knitting new stuff.
My camera still isn't fixed.
The plumbing in our house is, though!

I remember being told that if you cut your eyelashes, they grow back longer. I don't believe it though.

You need that camera fixed though. I'd love to see some pictures of Cabaret. It's something I've thought of making too.

I'm just hoping they grow back, period.

Sigh.

PHOOOOOOOOOTOS. Heck, just steal one of Cabaret from someone else.

Or buy a backup camera? Or have coffee with me some evening this week and I'll photograph it.

Any particular reasoning behind the decision to cut eyelashes? That seems...to be an unusual choice.

Oooh I winced at the eyelash story.

I cut my hair in bed one night and hid the pieces in my pillowcase and thought nobody would notice! I was only 4 and had to have a day off school to get a haircut.

Oh, my. I guess we should be glad she didn't cut Thing 3's eyelashes...

Did she give any sort of insight into her thought process? I mean, her hair, I get. I think you know where I stand on that. But eyelashes?? Sacrifices in the name of scientific inquiry...

On the bright side, you can now let me know if they actually grow back. I've always been quite vain about my own lashes and have kind of a phobia about them falling out/getting damaged. So thanks, Thing 2.

For a second, I thought you were talking about Cabaret the song. That's how long it's been since you had a working camera.

Glad to hear you are feeling better at last.

I am all wincy about the eyelash cutting thing too. Glad she didn't hurt herself with the scissors.

That's what I was thinking. At least she didn't poke her eye out! Kids!!! LOL

As soon as I read this, I thought, "Oh, geez, I KNOW I'm going to have kids who do things like cut their eyelashes!" :) I was a hair-cutter as a child. I also sliced my leg open playing with my mom's razor in the bath. At least she didn't poke herself in the eye!

I'd love to hear the reasoning behind the eyelash-cutting, too!

Poooooooooooooost. I need someone sane to write something sane about something sane.

And there's no one else I'd rather read than you!

I love Sandra Boynton. A nightly regular is the Going to Bed Book. My kids LOVE it! :) We have several of her books.

Hopefully the eyelashes grow back soon.
