Getting Bigger

So two and a half full months with maybe one run have put my finely calibrated in-out system a bit off. All of my new clothes are feeling a bit snug, and I still don't feel well enough to get out there on the street. Besides, hacking up stuff while I stagger down the sidewalk might prompt someone to call the paramedics.

Holiday foods being what they are, I don't foresee a period of abstemious food intake coming up, so I guess I'm going to have to just suck it up, literally as well as figuratively.

But fortunately, my rear end isn't the only thing getting bigger:

I'm up to the armholes and heading toward the neckline. Now I just have to figure out how to make it as high as I want it. I've already lengthened the body for my long, long torso. It's still as fun as it has been since the start.

I think "But fortunately, my rear end isn't the only thing getting bigger" is my favorite segue of all time. Awesome. You're not alone in the widening rear-end camp, let me tell you.

Kauni is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

I think widening body parts are something we just have to accept at this time of year - I was hoping to make progress with my weight (treadmill, yoga, pilates, weights), I don't know what I was thinking!

Kauni is beautiful, I love how it's coming along! :o)

I'm seriously impressed by the knitting growth and seriously unimpressed by the rear end growth. I prescribe more cookies and sitting. And knitting if you want to kill 2 birds with one stone.

It's absolutely gorgeous! Wow.

I sympathize about the clothes. My butt is getting bigger by the day, literally.

Tomorrow. I swear I will run tomorrow. Which reminds me, I can do coffee/tea tomorrow, either at the beginning or ending of the day. I need to run errands in the middle.

I agree: you get the segue of the year award. I have the same issue, except change the word months to years. Sorry you don't feel well STILL. Sheesh. Hope you're better soon. And that sweater is amazing.

And I just noticed that my comment has not one segue in the whole thing. Oops.

That sweater-in-progress stuns me and wows me every time I see it. Did you hear which gift I got at the homeschool Christmas party? During the stealing game which so many of the moms adore, but which terrifies me every time I see the greed in the eyes of these generally kind women whom I think I know so well? (Okay, maybe it isn't that bad. But it is kinda scary.)

I stole a skein of the Kauni (from someone who didn't particularly want it, I'll have you know.) So I'll be coming to you for advice at some point. You've already given me the inspiration.
