The bush beans are already bearing. I may, despite my commitment to dry beans, have to eat some green.
Also, in high-altitude gardening, the asparagus is over my head. (I'm not at all pregnant; I was trying to cover my nice skirt up with an apron so I wouldn't get dirt on it.)
There are exciting things happening close to the ground, too. It's a good time in the garden.

LOL, Stefaneener....AKA Jane and the Beanstalk! Maybe you could come up here to WA and urge my beans upward. They are balking.
I always grow a few pole snap beans. I know that a lot of my dried varieties make fine snap beans, but I just can't make myself pick them.

Daphne, you have a good point. I put in some yellow wax beans for pickling, but we'll see. I have read that more picking means more beans, but I don't like the green ones. Maybe I'll make the child who likes them pick them.

Our pole beans are climbing but TINY compared to yours and my bush beans have been pouting because we have had quite a bit of June Gloom weather so far this month. Hopefully real summmer will arrive soon and they will get with the program.
kitsapFG, I love my apron. We have had such hot weather that the beans are happy. The peppers aren't quite getting with the program, though. It's always something!
