Harvest Monday

The Red Edition

Daphne hosts Harvest Monday on her blog. Go check out the wonderful things people are harvesting.

Some Principe Borghese drying tomatoes (already split and in the oven), some red bells, destined to be roasted red pepper soup, and a handful of strawberries. I actually picked about 1 1/2 cups of berries, despite them being not watered enough. Those Tristars are rock stars!

Every year I say I need to grow more bell peppers. No matter how many I plant, it's always true.

My red peppers are still producing so many down here in So Cal. I love roasting them, but I think I might try making a roasted red pepper soup like you mentioned. Sounds so great!!

The red photo certainly caught my eye in my feed this morning. My bell peppers didn't do well this year. I only harvested a few and none ripened to red. I also vowed to grow more next year.

I wish my raspberries would produce even though they don't get watered. They are all dying. I don't really water our landscaping and the raspberries are in that part of the yard.

Joni, I forgot about your garden! You need to put up more pictures. It's the soup from Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone.

kelli, thanks for coming by.

Granny, it's not mine! You can get it.

GrafixMuse, how nice that you noticed ; ) Every single year I say the same thing!

Daphne, I have the same problem. Isn't it odd that it never seems to connect, this need for water and then a harvest? Hmmm.
