Not such a fungi

I'm definitely going to have to put more effort into fighting fungal diseases next year. The Anna apple has a scab of some kind, and I'm still cleaning dropped fruit from under the apricot. Since I have powdery mildew every year, there's certainly conditions that are favorable for fungal invasions.

We apparently had a different kind of invasion in one crop. Does this not provide irrefutable evidence of alien invasion?

I think this kind of alien is especially susceptible to olive oil and saute pans.

Oh my goodness! It's Bishop being impaled by the Alien queen. Where was the face hugger? You can't birth an alien from your chest without the face sucker!!

Dang...I don't even know what it is.

What on earth (or Mars) is that thing? It would keep small children and dogs out of the garden for good, that's for sure. Grannies, too.

I enlarged the photo to come up with a resonable explanation and identify it as something benign. My God did I get a fright! I shan't sleep for days for nightmares!

Definitely, that alien needs olive oil treatment! Bad news about the apple and apricot fungi, though.

Some sort of xenomorph perhaps. What ever it is I hope it tastes better than it looks...just be careful.

So.... has your garden been ground zero for a nuclear test? LOL! What the heck is that?!

wow! that is incredible, but if you take away the "host" (LOL) it kind of just looks like another onion sprouting upside down! Can you get some big $$ from "the man" if you get the garden classified as a superfund site?!! :) good luck!
