Some of us are better than others at seeing projects through. I find myself doing a fair amount of puttering -- a bit of this, a bit of that, and not a lot gets done. But if you make things for growing kids, they have to get done or they get left behind.
Although it took a ridiculous amount of time to finish these fairly easy sweaters, they did finally get done, and I assume will actually be worn. Thank goodness for superwash wool and cotton!
Someone didn't really want her picture taken, although she did give me permission this morning to post pictures.
Tor actually sort of got into the photo shoot. Had I thought, I would have channeled my inner fashion photographer and asked him to "gimme love."
He wasn't the only one in a silly position. Ahem. She seems to be announcing that she's ready for her breakfast.

I'm completely envious of your knitting talents! Those sweaters (and the models, of course) look fabulous! When I was pregnant with our girlie, I had this incredible urge to learn to knit...from a book. After ripping up the baby blanket nine times to start again, I finally threw it across the room and gave up. (It was the hormones. I'm not usually a thrower.) My hubby looked at me and said, "Huh. I thought knitting was supposed to be relaxing." Men! (I will learn...some day.) Congrats to you!
My husband says the same thing!! Usually it's when I'm swearing along. I'd love to sit and knit with you -- you'd do fine.
Lovely! I bet I've had a sweater in progress far longer that it took you to knit these ;) I have one I started *ahem* 10 years ago. Mr. CV is constantly ribbing me about out it (doh, sorry about the pun). I keep telling myself I will get it done by Christmas...this year. I know...it probably won't happen. It's about 65% done, I just need to find the time to finish it! So I'm very much in awe that you knit not just one, but two!
CVS, I once finished a sweater for child #4 which was started when #2 was a baby, if that counts. During the period I knit these, I also finished one for me. It's the final final details that will keep me in knots (ha ha). Of course you'll finish. I find my motivation goes in streaks.
That is amazing! They are gorgeous sweaters, I have only been able to knit one in my life, I get sidetracked so easily. I pulled out a big bag the other night that has a half finished cardigan for myself in it from a year ago. Luckily I drew a line at the pattern point where I stopped so I am going to use you as inspiration to pick it back up again LOL
nice! i can't recall the last time i knitted. I think maybe grandchildren will bring me out of retirement. No i am not asking for any any time soon, maybe 20 years. But Maybe, just maybe, I will be so inspired before then.
