Sprouts growing up

I actually have been gardening, believe it or not, but I've been really busy doing something else.

We have our first high school graduate -- top row, second from right.

Because she was homeschooled all the way through, it was a DIY (or DIG, because it was a group effort) graduation. A few meetings, a lot of alpha moms trying to figure out whose vision would triumph, and a long evening's service. Good food, some tears, and aren't they lovely?

Now she's off to Oregon in the fall to play Ultimate. And, you know, attend some classes!

I'll post gardening pictures as soon as I really catch my breath.

Congratulations! To both of you. That could not have been an easy row to hoe, gardening is a breeze in comparison. Compost is not a solution for all your home schooling challenges. :)

Congratulations!!! What an achievement both for her and especially for YOU for homeschooling her all the way. So, UofO or Oregon State? I went to U of O, but one of my best friends played Ultimate in Corvallis. All the best!

Michelle, looking back, this one was pretty easy. She's done well.

Sonoma Garden, it's Eugene! We enjoyed watching the women's team win nationals yesterday too.

Congrats! Our oldest just graduated from college--how can that be??? Didn't it seem like just yesterday they were babies? Thank goodness, our kiddos are spread way the heck out in age, with the youngest being 8. Wishing your daughter much happiness and a relaxing summer!
