Maybe I could get a cow with these

The Fagioli Pavoni ("Peacock beans") grew from a handful of seed beans brought back from a burlap sack in Lucca to a couple of quart jars. Each bean is well over an inch long, and they are pretty tasty. Next year, I'm going to plant the whole bunch that I have left, if I don't eat everything I haven't set aside. And then I'll keep better records of pounds per square foot.

Those are so pretty I bet you could get two cows for them!

Those are outrageous! If you have a few to spare, I could trade you Beautiful Beans for them. Or Hutterite Beans.

Very nice, they might be worth a cow and calf.:)

Do they grow a bean vine to the sky?! Those look a lot like Sunset Runner bean seees (only they are purple with spots!). So pretty to look at. :D

It's so exciting! One, to see a post again. Two, you're going to grow magical bean stalks. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Kaveh, too bad we have livestock laws. A single golden-egg laying goose, on the other hand... we can do poultry.

Birgitt, I'd be happy to give you some.

GrafixMuse, aren't they? They taste pretty good too, and they're BIG.

Mr. H., that would put me in high cheese.

kitsapFG, unless 6' counts, no, not really, alas.

Kristin, thanks! Gardening is magical, no?
