One more for Fooling

Not exactly a trick, really.

I forgot, in the WIP it out thingy -- those dratted Jaywalkers . They're not so bad, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they're not going to make it out of the WIP pile whole. After all of that moaning about the pattern, and figuring it out, I don't like the feel so far. I'll get them and find them and think about it some more, but I think this would be a nicer choice for the more subtle-than-it-appears Lorna's Laces yarn.

I certainly have more to think about before I make any decisions.

Oh, and today is my lovely mother's birthday. (And my aunt's, also.) Happy birthday to two of my favorite women. How is it, you think, that I remember to send cards to my mom but not her twin sister? Fluff fer brains, I tell you.

I'll have to blog in tedious detail about the seedlings showing their wee green heads at some point. For now I'm going to turn in. Maybe maybe maybe I'll get those neverending sleeves done tomorrow.

Maybe it'll still be April Fools' then.

Definitely fluff for brains! ;)

Come on with those sleeves already, I can't wait to see the sweater finished.

those socks look nice - I don't totally get the jaywalker rage anyway. Those socks seem almost do-able for me, and it looks like no short rows for the heel, right?

Really, I have to diagnose and treat my short row disability somehow, because I want to knit Ryan some shorties without teeny holes along one side of the butt.

Do you like how my comments on your blog always turn into messages about me?

I've got an even worse story...I have forgotten to give MY OWN TWIN BROTHER a gift for his birthday. (Ouch, did I admit that publically?)

I'm with a. What IS with the Jaywalker rage? Maybe you're rebelling against the popularity of the pattern....

I disliked it at first, too, but that's only because I knew it was going to be too snug on my leg and then tried to ignore my inner pleadings with myself because I was too lazy to rip it out and start over.

I ripped it out and started over. It's going along swimmingly!

My seedlings are peeking, too! What are you growing?
