(My favorite pumpkin is beginning to get orange.) And finally, a closeup of the lumpiest (unblocked) two-color work in my house:

Next I'm going to cast on for the first Cobblestone sleeve, and use finishing that as a goal before I cast on for mitten number two. I hope I don't forget the lessons I learned on this first one by then!

I love the colors you chose! I made a pair of those earlier this year. Been contemplating putting the snail pattern on a pair of matching socks.
Oh, cute! I love the color combination, and the snails are adorable.
I've really been meaning to knit these mittens. Thanks for the motivation. Yours look wonderful. Give them a strict blocking and all will be well.
Omgosh, that is beautiful!
The mittens are adorable. What pattern is that?

Oh, in case I didn't get this up before, it's the Norwegian Snail Mittens from the Knitter's Book of Yarn. I don't know if I'm up for a whole colorwork sweater -- the Kauni cardigan is next -- but a project of this size is fun fun fun.
